TheSoulOfDaniel is an artist shaped by profound spiritual transformation — a journey that redefined his manhood, sharpened his musical voice, and deepened the wisdom he shares throughout his message. His identity is anchored in a revelation that changed everything: the Almighty Creator’s declaration, “all souls are mine.” For him, these words are more than scripture; they are a term of divine endearment, a reminder of God’s infinite power and His intimate claim over every soul, including his own.
This truth became the foundation of TheSoulOfDaniel’s faith and the conviction that led him to fully yield to the will of the Almighty. In that surrender, he found both peace and complexity. God’s justice, fairness, and protection steady him, yet the path has also revealed a continuous internal war between two eternal forces contending for his soul.
From this spiritual battleground emerge the stories that define his artistry. His music, his voice, and his message carry the echoes of trials endured, triumphs secured, and testimonies lived. Every creation from TheSoulOfDaniel is more than expression; it is a reflection of transformation and an offering of truth to all who listen.

The Story Behind the Name: Daniel
There is no coincidence in the meaning of the name Daniel — “God is my judge.” For TheSoulOfDaniel, this truth has become a revelation that reshaped his entire understanding of divine love. He has come to see God’s judgment not as condemnation, but as the highest expression of care. As he explains, “I’d rather be judged by a God who loves me enough to correct me when I’m wrong than to be judged by a God who watches me fail without ever offering correction. That would be setting me up for failure — and that’s why only God is righteous. I’m thankful He is my judge.”
His confidence in this truth is not theoretical; it is built on lived experience. Over time, Daniel has witnessed how faithfully God honors His word — a consistency that stands in stark contrast to the fragile loyalty of humanity, which has faltered since the beginning of time.
A Journey Through Talent, Ambition, and Awakening
Daniel did not always see God with this clarity. Before becoming known as TheSoulOfDaniel, Daniel Steven was a multi‑talented creative with a rising career in film, television, and music. As an actor, producer, and writer, he was gaining momentum. As a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, he was becoming a sought‑after independent artist. With hit songs on the radio, music videos in rotation, co‑starring film roles, and a syndicated television show, Daniel was ascending quickly — but his vision was still blurry.
Success brought opportunity, and opportunity brought busyness. As the owner of Five by Seven Entertainment, Daniel poured his creativity into multiple ventures. Yet even as his accomplishments grew, he began to confront a sobering truth: he could achieve everything he set his mind to, and it could still mean nothing to God. The scripture became real to him — “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” (Psalm 127:1)
Surrender, Alignment, and Purpose
Through personal challenges and professional crossroads, Daniel discovered that his greatest achievement would not be artistic success, but submission to God. This surrender transformed his life, reordered his priorities, and placed God firmly at the center of everything he does.
Today, Daniel is more focused, more intense, and more driven than ever — not by ambition, but by purpose. His passion is to fulfill the vision God placed in his soul. As he continues to work, he continues to grow, understanding that both natural and spiritual progress are ongoing, and that true promotion comes from God alone.
Daniel boldly declares, “You can’t stop me, you can’t block me. No matter what you do, I’m gonna do what I got to do. You can hate on me to the 10th degree, but what was meant to be is just meant to be — and you can’t stop me.” The “you” he speaks of are the forces of evil, natural and spiritual, that seek to discourage, distract, or derail him from fulfilling God’s purpose for his life

Just as music encompasses both major and minor scales, TheSoulOfDaniel views music both as major and minor on the scale of importance, treating it as a vital, life-affirming force from God one moment and a trivial distraction the next.

In world that globally denies God, I have been fortunate to have my understanding opened to the practicality of Christ. Even greater, I have experienced the psychological transformation of the spirit of Christ through the application of faith. I can relate to the skepticism, and the uncertainty, of its entirety. I grew up in a religious environment, and I played the role of a hypocrite. I had the desire to believe and belong to the body of Christ (The Church), but I did not have the understanding.
I had to first recognize there is nothing good about me. Before the transformation by the renewing of my mind, and coming into this realization, I judged the world based on criteria that was established by false teachings and cultural associations that in grew up in and around. Throughout my entire life I managed to maintain the proper social aesthetic that granted me access to social approval.
I worked diligently to perfect the appearance of godliness until God opened my understanding of who he is, which in turn introduced me to myself. I finally understand, God is holy and all powerful, and I am less than nothing.
I know first hand what it means to live a life of sin, and how satisfyingly unsatisfying it is. I realize have disappointed The Creator who is the giver of life, and provider of all life’s amenities and necessities. I have failed God in the most arrogant of ways. Although I had an awareness of my wrong, I was still blind, and I could not see just how egregious my actions really were.
Throughout my greatest accomplishments, and my most difficult downfalls, God was gracious to me and loyal to his word, but I was completely disloyal to him.
Fortunately, God never left me and he drew my heart closer and closer to him. He used the script that he inspired men to write to show me how my life was out of line with his purpose for my life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you”. Jeremiah 1:5
God has blessed me a plethora of gifts and talents, but everything I do with it means absolutely nothing if he isn’t pleased with my life.
I have repented to God and he has forgiven me.
I have personally experienced the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Yes it is real! I am a witness of his redeeming grace through his love, compassion and chastisement.
Everything is new now and I have a new identity in Christ. I am no longer a slave to this world.
My mind has been renewed, and with the assistance of God Almighty, the reflection of this transformation shall be manifested in my life, and in all my creative works to come.
I now accept and understand that I have been created for God’s glory, and I will not stop until he gets the glory out of my life.
“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold all things have become new”. 2 Corinthians 5:17
“I do not have it all together, but the one thing that I will do is forget the past and push forward with he help of God and press toward the goal for the prize of the greater call of God in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 3:12-14
