TheSoulOfDaniel is an introspective artist whose sole desire, and greatest aspiration is to please The Creator. NOTE: There is no space nor separation between the four words that are synonymous with his identity; The, Soul, Of, and Daniel. They are all conjoined, flowing continuously and consecutively to form one name, TheSoulOfDaniel. One sound, and one expression that identifies one man, that will be judged by one God.

From the visual concept captured in his logo to the self-reflective insight articulated throughout his body of work, TheSoulOfDaniel is typified as one complete embodiment of mind, heart, body, and spirit. This is a recurring theme that will continue to be on display in every creative endeavor that emanates from the emotion, imagination and voice of TheSouloOfDaniel

The Almighty declares, “All souls are mine…”, and asks, “What will a man give in exchange for his soul”? These profound statements found in the script of life emphasize both the personal claim that The Creator has for each soul ever created, and the personal responsibility TheSoulofDaniel has to accept in order to meet the criteria for a life well lived and a job well done.

From the day that Daniel Steven became a living soul, little did he know that the journey he would have to travel would lead him to the realization of his identity, and his purpose. A man of many talents, Daniel is recognized for accomplishments in various genres of entertainment. From film & television as an actor, director, producer, and writer; to music as a recording artist, singer, songwriter, musician, and producer.

Daniel is not only a busy man, but he’s also a business man and visionary of Five by Seven Entertainment, a multi-media firm and television network. Although his personality and aura are quite massive, Daniel prefers the subtlety of seclusion and introspection which explains why he has never been a fan of fame. Unafraid to speak or be silent, Daniel sees no point in unnecessary interaction that isn’t deliberate, intentional, and productive. His focus keeps him isolated from the intrusive thoughts of the world that intend to distract him from accomplishing the vision The Creator instilled in his heart, mind and spirit.

As Daniel continues to work, he also continues to grow, and evolve with the understanding that progress is continuous, ongoing and never ending. Daniel boldly declares,” You can’t stop me, you can’t block me. No matter what you do, I’m gonna do what I got to do. You can hate on me to the 10th degree, but what was meant to be is just meant to be, and you can’t stop me”. The “YOU” Daniel refers to are the forces of evil, both natural and spiritual that have the agenda to destroy, discourage or dissuade from God’s purpose for his life.

The musicality of TheSoulOfDaniel is as intense as an eagle, and as innate as its ability to fly at high altitudes. Beautiful, powerful, complexed, captivating, and poetic. Although shaped by years of observations from various influences, TheSoulofDaniel is an original work of art.

For the majority of my life, I had no idea that am the worst person that I know. Before the transformation by the renewing of my mind, and coming into this realization, I judged the world based on criteria that was established by false teachings and cultural associations that in grew up in and around. Throughout my entire life I managed to maintain the proper social aesthetic that granted me access to social approval which I saw as success.

I worked diligently to perfect the appearance of godliness until God opened my understanding of who he is, which in turn introduced me to myself. I finally understand, God is holy and all powerful, and I am less than nothing.

I know first hand what it means to live a life of sin, and how satisfyingly unsatisfying it is. I realize have disappointed The Creator who is the giver of life, and provider of all life’s amenities and necessities. I have failed God in the most arrogant of ways. Although I had an awareness of my wrong, I was still blind, and I could not see just how egregious my actions really were.

Throughout my greatest accomplishments, and my most difficult downfalls, God was gracious to me and loyal to his word, but I was completely disloyal to him.

Fortunately, God never left me and he drew my heart closer and closer to him. He used the script that he inspired men to write to show me how my life was out of line with his purpose for my life. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you”. Jeremiah 1:5

God has blessed me a plethora of gifts and talents, but everything I do with it means absolutely nothing if he isn’t pleased with my life.

I have repented to God and he has forgiven me.

I have personally experienced the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Yes it is real! I am a witness of his redeeming grace through his love, compassion and chastisement.

Everything is new now and I have a new identity in Christ. I am no longer a slave to this world.

My mind has been renewed, and with the assistance of God Almighty, the reflection of this transformation shall be manifested in my life, and in all my creative works to come.

I now accept and understand that I have been created for God’s glory, and I will not stop until he gets the glory out of my life.
